Another triathlon. Found a new angle for pictures in Austin - the bridge in the background is an iconic shape (and home to 1.5 million bats). I like how the backlit and overexposed river and bridges work with the fill-flashed athletes. Think I need to start finding something other than triathlon to shoot, for a while. Getting hard to keep it fresh and interesting.

Nice composition with the bridge in the background. I wonder if you could time the shot where the curve in the helmet and the curve in the span of the bridge are in harmony?
Hi Jan - I have quite a few like that, where the helmet fits more obviously into the span. I'm getting a bit bored of too much perfection in my pictures - something a little off adds some interest to my eye.
Morning light and flash are nicely balanced. I like it.
